The operator has access to unlimited number of distillation parameters files . He can Save, Save as, delete the files . The new file(s) can be sent to the local distillation unit.
Even during a distillation the operator can work on previously saved files . Display curves of previous distillation analysis . Print results Etc...
To Start a distillation with a previously stored program it is easy as 1,2,3. Simply select Start , the system propose the available programs in the distillation local unit . Select one .Enter the weight and specific gravity and confirm your start.Automatically the local distillation unit will start and the synoptic will indicate that a distillation is running .At the end of the run , the operator will select the Results function and the software will start its utility program for conversion of the results in Excel format.
Even if a power failure occurs during a distillation , the supervisor PC will notice it and will propose to the operator to abort the test or to continue . The system will complete the current step of the distillation and wait for the operator to make the necessary change to complete the distillation .
