A fully automated instrument to determine ash and carbon residues.

• The NMC 430 provides 3 preset methods and also 17 additional research ones with 4 segments each.
• The double outer layer oven is ventilated with an inert gas which allows to perform as well the micro conradson test at 500°C as the ash test at 750°C.

• A manometer located in front of the instrument displays the admission pressure and a flow meter the gas flow in the chamber. Solenoid valves can be either manually or automatically activated.
• Initial and final weights can be entered through the keyboard which allows the carbon residue percentage of each sample to be computed and included on test reports.
• A detailed test report including weightings, results and temperature curve during the test can be printed when the NMC 430 is connected to a 80 column printer. The instrument can also be connected to a PC which not only keeps track of previous test results but also displays during tests the temperature curve. A zoom on the critical part of it can be easily performed.

• The instrument is equipped with preset and programmable cuts-off for safety. The heating element is especially protected against overheating
