AUTOMATED EVAPORATIVE CAPACITY TESTER Known as Dr. NOACK's TEST MODEL REF. P783

A three module instrument:

• Heating Block
• Vacuum Controller
• Graphic Recorder

The instrument consists of a solid block heating unit made of malleable aluminum alloy in accordance with DIN 1725 sheet-1, an insulated jacket and base protect against heat losses. The core unit is made of a heating block, an inclined manometer and 2 Woolf flasks on a dedicated frame. The instrument is equipped with 2 spirit levels, and a needle valve to regulate the pressure.

Temperature measurements and regulation are made with a stainless steel PTlOO probe and a PID regulator protected by a password.

Each instrument is tested in the production facilities and is supplied with a quality control report which includes a pressure/temperature curve according to the standard requirements.

The instrument is delivered with an evaporation crucible and a thermometer with its calibration certificate, Wood's metal, a wedge key for tightening the crucible, tubing and a pair of gloves.

To avoid operator's attendance, an automated vacuum controller (ref. 783/1) is recommended. This option can also be installed on previous generation instruments.

An optional graphic recorder (ref. 783/2) specially designed for this test provides print out of both pressure and temperature throughout the test . This option is essential for traceability in an ISO 9000 procedure environment.
